The 18th we had 12 out of 24 bites plus a blue tagged about 250 lbs. From the 19th to the 21st was the presidential challenge. We had a very good showing! Right up to the end, we were in the lead for the team with 2hr. to go and all of a sudden I couldn't find my team a fish. I know how the quarterback feels when he fumbles at the goal line. We caught 37 out of 50 plus a 350 lbs. blue that we released with 3 min. to spare as the pcc has a 30 min. time limit. So we hung on for 2nd. nobody was going to beat capt. Chris llewellyn on the real escape as he ran away with high boat we shut down for 5 days to do an engine rebuild (dammit) the 27 thru 30th we fly fished catching 16 on the fly. We finished the month with 300 fish in 19 days. We're a little over 1,600 for the year with a month to go. I'm personally about 200 short of 20,000 billfish in my career. If the money holds up and the luck doesn't change we should get there by the end of the year. Good luck and good fishing. -Ron
